Gaston Albergotti
Gaston is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dunean Capital Management. As CEO, he oversees the firm’s overall direction and investment strategy. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate and investment, Gaston specializes in investment sales and land acquisitions across the Southeast. Throughout his career, he has played an integral role in all areas of commercial real estate, including deal sourcing, underwriting, asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions. His expertise, coupled with the integrity of his business practices, has contributed to his involvement in more than $750 million in real estate transactions. A native of Anderson, SC, Gaston graduated from Wofford College with a degree in Business Economics. Following his graduation, he honorably served as a commissioned logistics officer in the Army National Guard. He now resides in Greenville, SC, with his wife, Allen, and their three children.
Chris Harrison
Chris is the Co-Founder and President of Dunean Capital Management. As President, he oversees the firm’s business strategy and strategic relationships. With over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and development, Chris has consulted on land use and entitlement strategies and provided valuation services for a variety of projects across the Southeast. A Greenville, SC, native, Chris is deeply committed to serving the Upstate of South Carolina. He has co-chaired the American Heart Association’s Upstate Heart Ball, held multiple board positions with the YMCA, and served on the Greenville County Planning Commission from 2016 to 2020. Notably, from 2020 to 2024, he was elected to Greenville County Council, where he represented a population of over 550,000 and oversaw an annual budget of $350 million. During his tenure, he held several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Communications and Government Affairs Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Planning and Development Committee, and member of the Finance Committee. Chris is a graduate of Clemson University and resides in Greer, SC, with his wife, Katie, and their two children.
Jake Van Gieson
Jake is the Co-Founder and Senior Investment Advisor at Dunean Capital Management. In this role, he and his brokerage team support DCM’s investment strategies by providing real-time market insights and maintaining a steady pipeline of investment opportunities. A seasoned real estate investor with nearly 20 years of experience, Jake has participated in over $100 million in real estate investments across all asset classes. Recently, his focus has shifted to land investments, and he now holds an ownership interest in more than 3,000 acres in the Upstate region of South Carolina. In 2015, Jake co-founded Reedy Property Group, where he currently serves as President. Originally established as a residential property management firm, Reedy Property Group has since expanded into a full-service real estate brokerage and property management company with over 50 professionals. In 2024, the firm completed 120 transactions, totaling just under $100 million in volume. Previously, Jake was a commercial real estate broker at NAI Earle Furman, where, in 2014, he became the youngest elected shareholder. He resides in Greer, SC, with his wife, Jennifer, and their five children.
Travis Paul
As Vice President of Finance at Dunean Capital Management, Travis oversees the firm’s financial operations, including investment analysis, budget management, and the implementation of financial processes. With over 16 years of expertise in financial management and operations, he brings a wealth of experience to the role. Before joining DCM, Travis served as Vice President of Finance for a real estate development company, where he secured $170 million in structured financing and more than $100 million in federal and state tax credits across four development projects. Previously, he held multiple roles with PPG in Pennsylvania, most recently as Global Finance Manager. In that position, he managed PPG’s Protective and Marine coating strategic business unit, overseeing reporting, budgeting, long-range forecasting, and capital expenditures. Travis earned a degree in Entrepreneurship from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. He now resides in Greer, SC, with his wife and two children.
Leah Tompkins
Leah is the Director of Investor Relations at Dunean Capital Management, where she leads the firm’s investor relations efforts, including marketing, reporting, and communication strategies. With a strong focus on relationship management, Leah manages relationships with a network of over 250 investors, ensuring alignment with Dunean Capital’s core values. She also oversees marketing and public relations initiatives that support the firm’s broader capital-raising efforts. Leah brings a wealth of experience and a strong operational skillset to DCM. In previous roles, she focused on commercial real estate investment services, transaction processing, and third-party communications. Leah has quickly earned a strong reputation in the industry, notably co-founding the Young Professionals Commercial Real Estate Club in Greenville, SC. Leah graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business Management.
Andrew Hansen
Andrew is the Asset Manager at Dunean Capital Management, where he is responsible for developing operational, leasing, and capital deployment strategies to optimize asset-level performance and returns. With over 16 years of logistical and operational experience, Andrew brings a wealth of expertise to DCM. In addition to his operational experience, Andrew has invested in commercial real estate for 11 years, across every asset class. Before joining DCM, Andrew served as a logistics officer in the National Guard and Army Reserve. While serving, he worked as a logistics analyst with Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry. Andrew earned a degree in Finance from Wofford College, and he also holds an MBA from Clemson University. Andrew currently resides in Greenville, SC, with his wife, Seabrook, and their newborn son.
Sydney Sloop
Sydney is the Executive Assistant at Dunean Capital Management, where she supports the leadership team and helps facilitate internal operations. Drawing on her background in the banking and product management world, she leverages skills in process improvement, communication, and analysis to streamline operations and ensure efficiency across the firm. A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Business Management, Sydney provides strong operational support with her organizational expertise and attention to detail.
